I don't wanna FREN you!
Chia is very unfriendly when it comes to strangers or people she is not familiar with. Even with Ah Po and Ah Kong who she sees every weekend, she has never smiled or called them when she first arrives their house. She would stick to mami and papa only. Not sure if I should count this a blessing as there are so many criminal incidents involving young kids nowadays. This is a common emotion-less look and mami shall capture this in your blog to show you when you've grown. :)

1st Pool Fun ^_^

In the first 10 minutes, she screams and cries like mad. She doesn’t seem to like water. We coaxed her into the pool with lots of toys but that didn’t work as well. In the end mimi had to carry this little princess into the pool together. And there she is - enjoying the splash for the next 20 minutes!

The Growing Years
Chia Chia is very cheeky these days. She likes to make "ugly" faces, pull her dresses, wave bye-bye and laugh without reasons. Spending time with her always brightens up my day. However she's too pampered by papa sometimes and hence become naughty. Papa plays with her a lot with all kinds of toys and even carries her up-side-down....
I must admit that babies nowadays are very smart. They know how to grab attention especially with their parents. Take my girl as an example: she could be playing happily in the playpen one second ago without making noise; but the moment she sees her papa or me passing by - she would be so "olo" (manja) and cry non-stop so we would carry her eventually.
.
Well, we are still waiting for Chia Chia to utter her first word. Watching you grow is such a pleasant experience, Chia; and we'll be with you for sure to witness every milestone along the way!

Ribbon Girl @ 41 weeks

My QQ (this is the name I call you in front of papa) is 41 weeks old now. I always have the impression that you are 9+ months by looking at the calendar month. Well, you’ve been the joy of my life for many days, many many hours, many many many minutes and many many many many seconds... Thank you my sweetie for making mimi’s life more interesting than before.
.
.
Watching you laugh is the thing I look forward most when I return home (from working). Carrying you immediately chases away all the woes and worries. Playing with you marks the happiest moment of all. And papa once told mimi the same too. We are simply amused and contented by just looking at you...
.
Together, we’ll build lots of lots of BEAUTIFUL memories. This, we promise you.

Dumb Dumb Face @ CNY 2010

Chiachia spent her first Chinese New Year in 2010; in malacca. She has been to ah po's and ah kong's house (my in law's place) for numerous times. However, she takes an hour or so to get used to the environment everytime we're there. Though she showed confused, bored and dummy face when this picture's taken, it's actually the other way round at the scene. She's like a little princess, where everyone takes turn to carry her and play with her. She's the first child from my hubby's family and extended families as all my cousins are not married yet.
.
This makes ah ma (my mami) complaint a lot when she returns to Kinrara because she's become naughty after being pampared much for a week. Well, you better behave girl... because ah ma is ever ready with her rotan! Hehehehe...

Walker Experience

There's one way to make her quiet without having to worry she'll fall or knock herself on hard surface. Yeah... WALKER comes in handy recently. We started putting her in the walker since the past couple of weeks and she liked it. She'll roll here and there if we place her in the lighter walker and she'll stand still if we place her in the heavier ones. Cherish your walker moment girl... or rather keep this picture for memory because you will not have these pictures later when you can walk by yourself! Papa and mimi are looking forward.....

Playful @ 30 weeks

You laugh a lot nowadays and always show us your cheeky face. Papa and mimi couldn't bear to scold you much even if you're naughty.. like when you don't finish your milk, moving here and there when we're trying to dress you up etc. Every expression that you show moves and touches our hearts from within. Time flies and you're 7.5 months now. Way to go girl... and we hope you stay cheery and HAPPY at all times.

Papa where are you?
My girl is very k-po (busybody) lately. She'll turn to look at people, noice, tv and whatever things that attract her. See the proof here (pic) - she was resting at her bouncing net at first but then turned 180' degree to check out what her papa's doing. Ka-chak ka-chak (aiyo papa's taking pictures la......)

Botak Head

At week 18, mimi brought me to shave my hair bald. I had very little hair previously, therefore there's not much difference if you can see in the above "before & after" pictures. Hopefully my hair can grow faster from now on. Otherwise mai po (papa's aunty) always comments that I look like a boy boy. Huh!
